Clique Pictures is a vibrant film and television company that focuses on working with under-represented talent in front and behind the camera. Clique Pictures is currently in post-production on the untitled Wendy Morgan/Kelly McCormack feature film with Violator Films.

Clique Pictures’ recent titles include Riot Girls by director Jovanka Vuckovic and writer Katherine Collins, which screened at Fantasia and Outfest Film Festivals before opening in North American in September 2019. The film is set to screen at Sitges Film Festival and Monster Fest Australia in October 2019.

Clique Pictures recently completed the TSN documentary On the Line following the Canada/US Women’s Hockey Rivalry by co-directors Juliet Lammers and Lorraine Price; feature documentary Metamorphosis by co-directors Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper; and the short documentary One Leg In, One Leg Out for CBC Digital with director Lisa Rideout.  

Previous productions include the feature films Wet Bum (TIFF 2014) starring Julia Sarah Stone, and Picture Day (TIFF 2012) starring Tatiana Maslany; short films Take a Walk on the Wildside (Canadian Screen Award Best Short Doc 2018), Frost (TIFF 2012), Parkdale (VIFF 2011), and Savage (Berlinale, SXSW, Genie Award Best Short Drama 2011).

Clique Pictures service produced the CASM Films feature The Parting Glass by director Stephen Moyer, writer Denis O’Hare and starring Ed Asner, Rhys Ifans, Melissa Leo, Cynthia Nixon, Denis O’Hare and Anna Paquin. Lauren also served as business affairs and co-producer on Giant Little Ones (TIFF 2018) and the upcoming feature film Percy.

Clique Pictures is based in Toronto, Canada and owned by Producer Lauren Grant. The Hollywood Reporter named Lauren one of 15 Talents to Watch in their Next Gen Canada 2014 edition. Lauren is an alumna of Trans Atlantic Partners, TIFF Studio, Rotterdam Lab, and Berlinale Talent Campus. She graduated from the CFC Canadian Film Centre Producers’ Lab and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.
